All I want for Christmas...

Anna Kate lost her third tooth tonight. She was so excited because it was her first top tooth that she has lost. Anna Kate has kept her tongue in the open space all night. She really looks like a big girl now!

Purple Parrots

Anna Kate played in her first soccer tournament on Saturday. She was a guest on her friend Mallory's team. Everyone had a great time playing and she made some new friends.

Talladega

Neil went to Talladega last Sunday with his daddy and brother. They had a great time, but were very tired when they came home that night. I was going through the camera and this is what I found. What a great view!

By the way, Neil isn't in this picture.

Art

I just started an oil painting class this week. I'm so excited because this is the first thing that I've done for just me in such a long time. Anna Kate was so sweet to me on the telephone. I called and told her that I was a little nervous about my new class and she told me that I would be okay. I just needed to try my best and that I would do great. Well, my baby girl really listens because that's what we tell her when she's nervous about starting new things. I just completed my first project! I started on my color chart in class, but had to finish it at home. It's amazing that you can get all of these beautiful colors out of just 11 small tubes of paint. I just had to share my new chart!

No More Dance

I was just looking through some old dance recital pictures. Anna Kate took dance for two years and then decided that she didn't want to stand on a stage and have people look at her. Her first year was great, but she decided that she didn't want to dance two days before her last recital. We managed to get her to dance, but she informed us that she wouldn't be doing it any longer. Parker sure loved the popcorn!

Boys Day

Neil and Parker went to Starkville with my parents and Neil's brother and his nephew, Myles. Anna Kate and I stayed home and went to a birthday party. Neil said that Parker had a great time and that he is so excited when he's in Starkville. He had his face painted today for the first time. Most kids usually get a paw print painted on their cheek. Well, Parker told the girl that he wanted lines painted under his eyes. He told my mama that he was mean now! On the way home, he picked all the paint off his face and told his Meme that he wasn't mean anymore. What a sweet boy!

Soccer

Anna Kate had a soccer game last Saturday. The girls did great! I think we won by five goals. We only had three players, so everyone had to play the entire game. Anna Kate is playing in a soccer tournament next week with her friend Mallory's team. I had no idea that we would be this busy with a six year old.
