For those of you that don't already know, my husband loves to watch wrestling. Well now, Anna Kate and Parker like to watch it with him. Parker's favorite wrestler is John Cena. He dressed himself in these clothes tonight and walked into the living room saying that he was John Cena. It is so bad that he asked me to make up my bed like a wrestling ring. He said that it needs a black floor and red ring ropes!!
Anna Kate and I couldn't resist another Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert. We went last weekend with our friends Regan and McLain and had a great girl's trip. The concert was Saturday afternoon in New Orleans and we had a great time staying in a hotel and visiting the French Quarter. The highlight of our trip was seeing Miley's daddy, Billy Ray at the concert. He came out and sang a song with her. It was great and I think the moms were louder than the kids.
Anna Kate has had a great time playing Upward Basketball at our church. This is her second year and she has improved so much. Neil is coaching the team and he let Parker play one game because we were short a few players. Parker now thinks that he is on the team and needs to play every game. We have had the best time watching these two on the court together. Parker's sweat band is Neil's special touch. There's nothing like your four year old talking trash to the other players.
I've been tagged, thanks to my sweet sister-in-law, Cooper. I'm not one to talk about myself, so it's been really hard for me to come up with seven things. I apologize in advance for not having any interesting facts about myself.
1. I am a blog stalker. I love to find out what other people are doing. It's kind of scary that I can talk to Cooper about her friends that I don't even know.
2. I'm very cheap. I don't buy any clothing or accessories unless it is marked down at least 20%.
3. I've always wanted to sing and play the piano. I'm really bad at both.
4. I don't like being called Mandy. If anyone calls me this, they are ignored or given the evil teacher eyes.
5. I don't like to sweat. This is why I don't like to exercise or attempt to play sports.
6. I'm way too caught up in celebrity news.
7. I have always procrastinated. I drove my parents crazy while I was in high school. I always waited to write papers and study the night before the test.

We can't believe that it actually snowed in Meridian. We haven't had snow since December of 2000. This is the first time the kids have ever seen snow at home! We had a great time playing in the yard and throwing snowballs. In case you haven't noticed, mama never gets in a picture. Sorry for all the pictures.
There was quite a bit of excitement in Meridian last Friday. Oprah and Bob Greene were in town to kick of the Best Life tour. They challenged Mississippi to lose weight and not be the fattest state anymore. I was so upset because I was at work and didn't get to go see Oprah. One of my good friends at school was on the show. She did great and I'm so proud of her.
Anna Kate and Parker were able to see snow on our way home. It snowed for a few hours and the kids were able to play in a little bit of it in Hardees parking lot. These sweet children have never seen snow at home in Mississippi.
The kids and I went with my parents to visit Garrett and Cooper in Virginia. It took us 13 hours to get there and I think that Anna Kate may have asked when we were going to be there one hundred times. Once we were there, we had a great time. Anna Kate and Parker had the best time climbing up and down the stairs and making lots of noise. Anna Kate loved her Aunt Cooper rolling her hair and Parker liked fighting with Uncle Garrett. We were there for Parker's actual birthday and he was able to blow out more candles and eat cupcake icing. It was nice to spend some time with Garrett and Cooper. We are ready for them to move closer to home.
I can't believe that my baby is 4 years old. It seems like it was yesterday when he came into this great big world. This child absolutely adores Bully and Mississippi State. He has talked about Bully coming to his party for a whole year. Parker told me that he wanted the colors at his party to be 'roon and white. Well, Bully did come and we had a great time. It was so funny to see the kids with Ole Miss and LSU jerseys sitting in Bully's lap or getting pictures taken with him. Parker had a great time and this is a birthday that he will always remember. Go Dawgs!!!

We went over to Meme and Paw Paw's for lunch and to open more presents. Meme always cooks a great meal and we eat until we're stuffed. Parker had a great time with his Thomas scooter and Anna Kate is looking forward to sewing with her sewing machine. Meme has decided that she is going to teach Anna Kate how to sew.
I never thought that Neil and I would be so glad to live near our parents. My parents live less than three miles down the road and Neil's parents live right around the corner from us. Our children have always had both sets of grandparents with them on Christmas morning. We called them when the kids were up and they came right over to see what Santa brought them. Anna Kate loves her skateboard and guitar and Parker likes riding his bike and playing with his trains.
We always have Christmas with the Henrys on Christmas Eve. This year we went to the Christmas Eve service at our church and then went back to Neil's brother's house. Anna Kate and Parker always have a great time eating, opening presents, and playing with their dogs.
