This is the second night that Anna Kate has spent the night with Mallory and Mackenzie. She was brave enough to do it earlier in the week. They only had to mention once to her tonight and her bag was packed! Marijoy sent me this picture of them after their bath tonight. They told her that they were the groovy girls. They have grown up so much!
It's finally official! We sold our house today and closed on the new one. It's been a very stressful week, but we made it! We plan on moving in on Tuesday, so we have a very busy weekend ahead of us.
Anna Kate and Parker had a great day at school. Anna Kate is now in second grade and Parker is in pre-k. It was so hard waking them up this morning after sleeping in all summer. I went to school and worked in my room while they were in school. I'm basically finished with my room. I just have to put up one bulletin board and hook my computers up. Parker told me that he liked school, but it took too long. He said that he was sleepy and ready to go to his house. Anna Kate already has homework! We need to get busy with it as soon as I make this post.

Parker had his evaluation for Upward Football on Saturday. He was prepared with his sweat band and water bottle. Neil said that he loved every minute of it. Parker said that he worked on his "skills" and is ready for football to start.
Neil's daddy rode over to our house last night on his gator. Anna Kate thought that she had to drive. He let her drive around our yard and push the gas, too. She'll be driving a car before we know it.
We were able to go see the Mississippi Braves one last time before school starts. The kids had a great time running around and eating. It seems that we can't ever get a picture of the four of us together.
Anna Kate and Parker went to soccer camp at MCC this week. They said they had a fun time, but that it was too hot. I don't know how they did it. Anna Kate will begin her third year of soccer and it will be Parker's first.
